Sundargarh: Five persons were seriously ill after consuming date palm juice at Satakuda village under Bonai police limits of Odisha’s Sundargarh district on Tuesday night.
Reports say the five, including a school student, consumed the fermented juice together and fell ill soon after. Family members admitted them to the sub-divisional hospital in Bonai but when their condition deteriorated further, they were referred to the Government Hospital in Rourkela.
