Baripada: The administration has sealed five shops in Baripada town for allegedly violating COVID-19 guidelines.
According to sources, these shops were sealed following raids on Krushnachandra Golei, Guruji Market, Hospital road and Bhanjpur in the presence of local police and Tehshildar.
This came close on the heels of Home Secretary Ajay Bhalla’s letter to all states, UTs after extending the COVID-19 guidelines till March 31, while urging them to maintain caution and strict surveillance to overcome the pandemic.
