Differently-Abled Minor Girl Raped By 13-Year-Old Relative In Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: A five-year-old differently abled girl was allegedly raped by her maternal uncle at Mahisakhal here on Tuesday.
Shockingly, the accused is a 13-year-old boy.
The matter came to light last night after the parents of the victim lodged a complaint at Badagada police station.
Based on the complaint, police arrested the accused.
The girl has been admitted to SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack and is in a critical condition. She is undergoing treatment under the supervision of a three-member team of doctors led by an assistant professor.
Her family members are being questioned by police.
A case has been registered under Section 376/(1) (2) of IPC and Section 6 of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
