Rourkela: Search and rescue operations are underway to locate five youths, who went missing in a tunnel of Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP).
Though the youths hailing from Sitapada area went missing in the tunnel (Outfall-9) of the plant on June 3, the matter came to the fore after family members of one of the victims lodged a complaint regarding the matter at Uditnagar police station on Friday night.
Soon after receiving the complaint, a joint team of police, ODRAF and fire officials swung into action to trace the missing persons.
However, some locals alleged that the youths went inside the tunnel for stealing steel materials of the plant.
