Flipkart’s Big Billion Days 2020 Sale Dates Announced

Bengaluru: Flipkart on Saturday announced that its biggest annual sale, Big Billion Days 2020, will begin on October 16 and continue till October 21.

For the 5-day sale, the Walmart-owned e-retail giant has tied up with State Bank of India to provide 10 per cent instant discount on SBI cards. There will be no-cost EMI options on Bajaj Finserv EMI cards and cashbacks on Paytm Wallet and UPI.

As expected, Flipkart Plus customers will get early access to the sale.

“The Big Billion Days stands for a celebration of brands, an assortment of collections never seen before, a spirit of festivity and joy, and a feeling of immense excitement as everyone embarks on their festive season preparations,” said Kalyan Krishnamurthy, CEO – Flipkart Group, in a prepared statement.

This time, Flipkart has expanded its tie-ups with kirana stores for last-mile deliveries. More than 50,000 kirana stores in more than 850 cities are part of the mega sale, the company said.

Competitor Amazon will also be holding its Great Indian Festival sale soon, the dates of which are yet to be announced.
