Bhubaneswar: National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) teams have been deployed in four coastal districts of Odisha to tackle a possible flood situation.
Sources in the office of Special Relief Commissioner (SRC) said four NDRF teams with 25 members each have been deployed in Kendrapada, Cuttack, Puri and Bhadrak districts. Apart from this, one team has already been stationed at the NDRF Rapid Response Centre in Balasore.
Additional teams are kept in readiness at the NDRF Battalion at Mundali in Cuttack for rescue and relief operations in these districts, the sources added.

Notably, two ODRAF teams and one NDRF team were deployed in Balasore, two ODRAF teams in Kendrapada and one NDRF team in Bhadrak district on Wednesday.
