Bhubaneswar: Students need to keep track of happenings around the world and focus on conservation of environment, said Minister for Higher Education, Arun Kumar Sahoo.
Speaking at the SOA Model United Nations (SOAMUN) event at Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan Deemed to be University on Friday, Sahoo said students should be aware about the contribution being made by
United Nations Organisation (UNO) towards achieving world peace and protection of the environment.
Sahoo, who also joined a Q-A session with the participants, emphasised on the need for sustainable development while stressing that it was the students who had to shoulder the responsibility of fashioning a better world.
