Bhubaneswar: In view of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s call to switch off lights and ignite lamps for 9 minutes at 9pm on Sunday as a sign of solidarity in the fight against COVID-19, the Odisha’s Energy Department has urged people to follow some instructions to maintain stability of grid system.
“All electric appliances including fans, refrigerators, TVs, ACs, computers should be kept in switch-on mode while observing the ‘9 baje, 9 minute’ call given by the PM to maintain the stability of electricity grid, said I&PR Secretary Sanjay Singh.
