Bhubaneswar: The number of visitors to Nandankanan Zoological Park here has increased with the onset of winter.
The zoo had been resistering an average footfall of 3,000 since it reopened on Otober 4 after the COVID-19 lockdown. However, the number went up with 4,015 tickets sold on Sunday, zoo authorities said.
Meanwhile, the Botanical garden saw 602 visitors, Nandankanan Deputy Director Bimal Prasanna Acharya informed.
