Forbes 2020: Akshay Kumar & Virat Kohli Make It To Highest-Paid Celebrities List

Mumbai: ‘Khiladi’ Akshay Kumar has done it yet again. Before you come to any conclusion, we are talking about the Forbes’ 2020 list of highest-paid actors. The Bollywood star secured the number 52 position.

Akshay Kumar is the only Indian in the list of highest-paid actors due to his plethora of movies that were released in 2019. With his earnings of $48.5 million, he has even beaten Hollywood biggies such as actor Will Smith, singer Jennifer Lopez, and Rihanna.

Also, another Indian superstar, Cricketer Virat Kohli, also featured in the list. He is the only Indian sportsman to add his name in the Forbes’ list of world’s highest-paid athletes. With total earnings of $26 million, he secured the 66th position

His major sources of earning are from brand endorsements and cricket salary. The 31-year-old is also the only cricketer in the top-100 list.

However, there is not a single Bollywood actress in the list majorly due to pay disparity in Indian film industry.
