Chennai: Ford has launched a new variant of its big SUV, Endeavour, in India. The new Sport model is priced at Rs 35.10 lakh (ex-showroom, India).
This is a new top-end variant with a blackened front grille, roof rails, alloys, OVRMs, fender grille, side steps, and smoked LED headlamps. It has a 4-wheel drive.
Features-wise, it has an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment head-unit with SYNC 3 along with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It has Active Noise Cancellation that claims to reduce low-frequency engine sounds from entering the cabin.
It also has a panoramic sunroof, hands-free power tailgate, rear parking camera, automatic headlamps, rain-sensing wipers, dual-zone automatic climate control as well as 8-way power-adjustable driver & front passenger seat, Semi-Auto Parallel Park Assist, Hill Launch Assist, Hill Descent Control and up to seven airbags.
Smart connected features such as remotely starting, stopping, locking or unlocking the vehicle, know the remaining fuel levels and distance to empty and locating their vehicle are possible using Ford Pass system.
The Endeavour Sport is powered by the same 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder diesel engine producing 168 BHP power and 420 Nm torque along with a 10-speed automatic gearbox and a 4-wheel drive system with Normal, Snow/Mud/Grass, Sand and Rock driving modes. It can wade through 800 mm of water.
The colours available for this edition are Absolute Black, Diffused Silver and Diamond White.
