Baripada: Three motorcycle-borne
Oxygen-Sans, Ubuntu, Cantarell, ‘Helvetica Neue’, sans-serif;”> miscreants fired on a foreign liquor shop owner and looted cash from him at Gorumahisani under Rairangpur tehsil in Mayurbhanj district on Tuesday afternoon.
The liquor shop owner, Sabyasachi Mohanty, sustained a bullet injury in his right thigh. He was rushed to the Rairangpur Community Health Centre and later shifted to Pandit Raghunath Murmu Medical College & Hospital in Baripada for better treatment.
The incident took place around 1 pm when Mohanty was sitting at the cash counter.
Police have begun an investigation and are examining the CCTV camera in which the entire incident was captured, sources said.
