New Delhi: Veteran lawyer and former attorney general Soli Sorabjee died at the age of 91 on Friday morning. The hotshot lawyer was infected with COVID-19. He was admitted to a private medical facility in Delhi.
Sorabjee began his law practice in 1953 in Bombay High Court. He was designated as the senior counsel of the Supreme Court in 1971.
Sorabjee first became the attorney general of India from 1989-90 and then again from 1998-2004.
