Former Chief Justice Of Orissa HC V A Mohta No More

Bhubaneswar/Nagpur: Former Chief Justice of Orissa High Court Vallabhdas Aidan Mohta passed away at  Akola in Nagpur on Tuesday evening.

He was the Chief Justice of Orissa High Court from September 28, 1994, to April 25, 1995.

During his tenure as Chief Justice, he delivered several landmark judgments. He also recommended the name of Dipak Mishra as a Judge at his age of 43. Mishra was later elevated to Supreme Court and continuing as Chief Justice of India.

After his retirement, Mohta did not accept any appointment from government.
