Bhubaneswar: Pradeep Majhi, former Congress MP from Nabarangpur, will join BJD along with his supporters on Saturday.
The Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC) working president had resigned from the party’s primary membership on October 22, stating that the party lacked the desire to serve people.
Two days later, Majhi confirmed that he would join the Biju Janata Dal (BJD).
Addressing mediapersons at Nabarangpur on October 24, he praised Chief Minister and BJD president Naveen Patnaik for providing a stable government in Odisha.
