Bhubaneswar: Retired district judge Kishore Chandra Mahapatra passed away at his residence in Aerodrome Area here on Monday. He was 88.
Mahapatra was suffering from COPD for the last 2 years. He worked as District and Session Judge of Keonjhar and Sundargarh and retired as Member, Disciplinary Proceedings Tribunal, Odisha in 1992.
He also held the post of president, District Consumer Redressal Forum in Dhenkanal, Angul and Khordha. Besides, he functioned as Fast Track District Judge at Bhubaneswar.
