Bhubaneswar: Eminent cardiologist and former health director of the Odisha government Pramod Acharya died of cardiac arrest in Bhubaneswar on Saturday.
According to sources, the senior doctor passed away at 4:45 AM at his residence at IRC Village.
The last rites of Acharya, who gained fame throughout the state, will be performed after his son arrives at his residence from the US on Sunday, said his wife Dr. Seba Mohapatra.
