Bhubaneswar: Former junior state cricketer Binay Biswal died of cancer on June 2.
Popularly known as Chintu in Odisha cricketing circles, he had carved a name for himself with his sharp off-spin and cheeky batting in the middle-order.
Binay represented Paramount Sporting in early 2000. He also played for Bhubaneswar district at the age-group level and attended state camps at Barabati Stadium in Cuttack.
He was an IT professional based in Pune.
