Dhenkanal: BJD leader and former Congress MLA Navin Nanda had a narrow escape after two unidentified miscreants hurled country bombs at his vehicle at Thakurpal village in Odisha’s Dhenkanal district in the afternoon on Monday.
The incident took place when Nanda had gone to participate in Swabhiman Suraksha Rally at Thakurpal village under Gondia block.
Talking to media persons, Nanda said the miscreants had targeted him. The incident is an outcome of a political rivalry, he said, adding that he has lodged a complaint with the police.
