Mumbai: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has summoned former Mumbai police commissioner Sanjay Pandey on July 5, reported PTI.
The summon is in connection with a money-laundering case, an ED official was quoted as saying on Sunday. The details of the case for which Pandey has been summoned wasn’t divulged.
Pandey retired from the police force on June 30.
Pandey, who was unavailable for comment, may appear before the anti-money laundering agency in Delhi.
