Puri: The Shree Jagannath Temple Administration on Saturday announced that a three-hour (9 am to 12 pm) restriction on general darshan for devotees tomorrow, on account of former Nepal King Gyanendra Bir Bikram Shah Dev’s visit to Puri Srimandir.
The former Nepal King, who is on a six-day visit to the state, is expected to offer a special puja and perform special seva in the temple. He will also perform ‘Aarati’ of Lord Jagannath atop the ‘Ratna Singhasan’ of the Srimandir.
Earlier in the evening, Gyanendra Shah, attended the silver jubilee celebrations of the Pattabhishekha of Jagadguru Shankaracharya of Puri at Govardhan Peeth here.
Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, who also graced the occasion, said, “I am blessed to be a part of the holy celebrations. It is indeed a sacred experience for me.”
