Bhubaneswar: Former chief secretary of Odisha Sudhanshu Mohan Patnaik passed away at his residence in Bhubaneswar on Saturday evening. He was 83.
He died due to cardio respiratory failure, family sources said on Sunday.
Patnaik served as the chief secretary from March 8, 2000, to October 31, 2000. He was the first member of the State Human Rights Commission and also held the posts of Chairman of Staff Selection and Agriculture Commission.
