Bhubaneswar: Former Odisha DGP SK Chatterjee breathed his last in New Delhi on Saturday night, Odisha DGP Abhay tweeted on Sunday.
An IPS officer of 1966 batch, he served as the Odisha DGP for 13 months before retiring on April 30, 2001.
Chatterjee had succeeded the then DGP, Bana Bihari Panda, who retired from service five days after Naveen Patnaik took oath as the Chief Minister on March 5, 2000.
