Bhubaneswar: Former Minister and Rayagada district president of Biju Janata Dal (BJD)Lal Bihari Himirika is undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Visakhapatnam.
His condition is stated to be stable now.
According to sources, the former minister had been complaining of uneasiness for past two days. On Monday, he was admitted to Rayagada district headquarters hospital, where he was diagnosed with fever, high blood pressure and diabetes.
As his condition further deteriorated, the doctors referred him to a private hospital in Vishakapatnam, the sources added.
