Bhubaneswar: Former Brahmagiri MLA Ajay Kumar Jena passed away while undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Bhubaneswar, on Tuesday. He was 80.
Jena was elected to the Odisha Legislative Assembly twice in 1977 and 1990 as Janata Party and Janata Dal candidate, respectively.
He was born on July 27, 1943, at Titipa village under Krushnaprasad block of Puri district. He was a well-known social worker in his region.
