Former Odisha MLA Nabin Nanda’s Son Sambit Passes Away

Dhenkanal: Former BJD MLA Nabin Nanda’s son and social worker, Sambit Nanda, passed away at a private hospital in Cuttack on Saturday. He was 38.

According to sources, he died while undergoing treatment for infection of the lungs.

A few hours before his son’s demise, the former MLA had taken to Twitter to plead for help to save his son’s life. An ECMO treatment was necessary for Sambit, which was not available in the hospital, Nabin mentioned.

“My son Sambit Nanda admitted in Aswini hospital Cuttack for lungs infection treatment needed ECMO treatment but not available. Please help him save his life,” he tweeted.

According to sources, Sambit’s Corona test report came negative on April 22. But he was affected with Pneumonia and admitted to Aswini Hospital in Cuttack on April 28.

Sambit was famous as a young leader, social worker and entrepreneur.

On his sad demises, BJP National Vice President Baijayant Panda tweeted,
