Bhubaneswar: Former Odisha cricketer Rajesh Singh passed away at the age of 56.
He is survived by one son.
A right-arm medium-pacer and useful batsman, Rajesh played 16 first-class matches for Odisha between 1988-89 and 1992-93.
The Cuttack-born captured 18 wickets at an average of 36.94, with his best effort being 4/40.
As a lower order batsman, Rajesh scored 398 runs (average 19.90) with a solitary half-century (59).
Sharing the sad news, Odisha Cricket Association officials expressed their condolences.
