Bhubaneswar: Former Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, Bijay Kumar Dash passed away in Bhubaneswar on Sunday.
A multi-faceted personality, Dash was ailing for some time and breathed his last in the afternoon.
Closely associated with a number of social and cultural organisations, Dash was popular among Odias residing in Delhi. He was well known for his active role in various spheres starting from community leadership and book publishing to organising social events,
He made significant contributions as Secretary of Odia Samaj , Delhi, President of Neelachal Seva Sangha, which manages Hauz khas Jagannath Temple and Editor of ‘Sukha Dukha’ magazine.
Dash will be remembered for the help and assistance that he extended to the needy for medical treatment in AIIMS New Delhi.
