Berhampur: Former Professor of Odia at Berhampur University Sudarshan Acharya breathed his last at his residence here at 10 am on Thursday.
He was a scholar in Odia, Sanskrit and Telugu literature.
Acharya was conferred with the coveted Atibadi Jagannath Das award for literature for the year 2006. A versatile writer, he donned many hats that of a literary critic, translator and book editor.
