Puri: Former administrator of Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) Suresh Mohapatra has submitted his report on the alleged ‘Brahma Parivartan’ fiasco during Nabakalebar in 2015.
It was reportedly submitted to the temple administration in a sealed envelope about 10 days back.
According to sources, the report has been prepared basing on the testimonies of the servitors, who were on duty during the ritual. It also contains names of five ‘Daitapatis’ and also remarks on servitors who allegedly revealed the ‘secret rituals’ to media.
Reiterating that there was no deviation in conducting the ritual, senior servitor Binayak Das Mohapatra said “We have long been waiting for the report to know the findings.”
Puri Gajapati Dibyasingha Deb had recently expressed concern over the delay in submission of the report.
The state government had directed Suresh Mohapatra, the then chief administrator of SJTA, to submit a report after deviation in the conduct of the sacred rituals led to resentment among devotees.
