Bhubaneswar: Aswini Kumar Pujahari, former director of the Veer Surendra Sai Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (VIMSAR) in Burla, on Sunday joined the Congress.
He joined the party in the presence of Odisha PCC president Niranjan Patnaik at the Congress Bhawan here. Pujahari had resigned from the institute on February 9 after videos allegedly showing him using unproven therapies for treatment went viral on social media last December.
