Forum for Smart Citizens To Organise Conclave On Vision Document For ‘Odisha In 2036’

Bhubaneswar: The “Forum for Smart Citizens” will organise a two-day conclave to deliberate on preparing a vision document for Odisha in 2036 when the state will complete 100 years.

The conclave, titled “Shatabdi ra Odisha”, will be organised in collaboration with ‘Sankalp’ at Sankalp Media & Convention, Infocity, Bhubaneswar on May 31 and June 1. Governor Prof Ganeshi Lal will inaugurate the workshop on the first day.

The workshop will deliberate on six different themes around which the growth story of Odisha will be scripted. Those are agriculture, education, social issues such as women empowerment, migration, malnutrition, MSME, StartUps and tourism. The speakers are experienced practitioners in their respective fields.

“The vision document would present a picture of Odisha as to where we would like to see her when she completes a century of her formation. It is an aspirational dream which would serve as a beacon to all of us to achieve heights of performance in the remaining years of the century,” said BK Patnaik of the Forum for Smart Citizens.
