Bhubaneswar: Four doctors of AIIMS-Bhubaneswar have tested positive for COVID-19.
Among them, three are senior resident doctors from surgery, pathology and pharmacology departments and a junior doctor from dermatology, AIIMS-Bhubaneswar director Gitanjali Batmanabane informed.
Five days ago, a junior doctor of the premier institute was found to have contracted the infection.
On Monday, four junior doctors and eight nurses of MKCG Medical College and Hospital and another doctor and a nurse of Nayagarh district headquarters hospital had tested coronavirus positive.
Infections among health professionals have emerged as a new cause of worry as two doctors from Rourkela and one from Cuttack have also tested positive for the virus earlier.
A total of 13 medicos in Odisha have so far been infected.
