Four Arrested For Looting Female Bank Employee In Odisha Capital

Bhubaneswar: Four persons were arrested for allegedly looting Rs 90,000 in cash and some documents from a female bank employee at Khandagiri in Bhubaneswar on Saturday.

The accused were identified as Shahjahan Khan, SK Saheed, Jalluddin Khan and Prashant Bhuyan. There are multiple cases registered against them in various police stations in the city.

Police said the accused targeted the employee of Bandhan Bank when she was returning home with the cash belonging to bank customers. They snatched the cash and some papers from the woman before escaping from the spot.

Police said they have seized Rs 70,000 in cash, a motorbike and a country made pistol from the accused.
