Bhubaneswar: The Commissionerate Police on Tuesday arrested four persons, including a juvenile, for an alleged break-in and theft at an IAS officer’s house here.
The accused has been identified as Dinesh Kumar Gupta, Kartika Sethy and Samir Kumar Pradhan.
According to police sources, the four had entered IAS officer Raghu G’s house by breaking the entrance grill and decamped with two laptops, wristwatch and one silver coin on the night of August 23.
The 2011-batch IAS officer had lodged a complaint at Nayapalli police station.
During the course of investigation, three accused persons were arrested. Subsequently, one scrap dealer was also apprehended.
Two laptops were seized from their possession.
Further investigation is on to ascertain involvement of other persons or a racket, the sources added.
