Rourkela: Four persons have been arrested for allegedly gang raping a minor girl at Ratakhandi area under Bisra police limits in Rourkela city on Thursday night.
The victim was returning home from her neighbour’s house when the four persons kidnapped the girl, took her to a nearby forest and raped her.
Later, the victim’s family lodged a complaint regarding the matter at Bisra police station.
Based on the complaint, the police swung into action and managed to nab all the four.
A case has been registered against the accused persons under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act and the victim has been sent for medical examination.
