Paradip: Four bogies of a goods train derailed in Paradip in Jagatsinghpur district on Friday morning.
According to sources, the incident occured when the goods train was entering the premises of Paradip Phosphates Limited to collect gypsum. Following the derailment, the entrance and exit points of the company were blocked.
However, no casualty was reported into the incident.
The reason for the derailment is yet to ascertained. Senior PPL officials have started an investigation into the incident.
Till reports last came in, PPL employees were trying to place the bogies back on the tracks with the help of a machine.
