Jaipur: At least four children are feared dead and several others injured in a school building collapse in Rajasthan. According to officials, the roof of the Piplodi Primary School in Jhalawar collapsed around 8.30 am on Friday.
As many as 60-70 children are feared to be trapped under the debris. Rescuers are using cranes to remove the rubble and shift the injured children to the Manohar Thana Community Health Centre. Four of those brought out have been declared dead and the toll is likely to rise.
More rescue teams and emergency medical staff are being rushed to the spot, officials said.
