Four COVID Warriors Among New Cases In Odisha’s Kandhamal

Phulbani: The COVID-19 tally in Odisha’s Kandhamal district touched 1,734 on Friday with an overnight addition of 81 positive cases.

According to the district administration, the majority of 64 new cases were reported from containment zones, 10 were local cases and three detected outside from Temporary Medical Centres.

The highest of 13 new cases were reported from Daringbad, followed by 12 from Chakapad, 11 from Phulbani, 10 from Baliguda, nine from Raikia, seven from Tumudibandh, six from G.udaygiri, four from Phiringia,  three each from K.nuagaon and Kotagad, two from Khajuripada and another one at SUM hospital.

Four among the newly infected are COVID warriors.

With seven deaths and 1096 recoveries, Kandhamal has 631 active cases at present.
