Cuttack: Four division benches of the Orissa High Court will function during the summer vacation, from May 20 to June 16, said a notification issued by the registrar (judicial) of the High Court on Thursday.
According to a notification, the four division benches and eight single-judge benches will dispose of important cases on May 22, 29, June 4 and 11.
The vacation division bench of Justices A.K. Rath and B.N. Rath will hear important cases and the special division bench of Justices Debabrata Das and B.N. Rath will hear pending jail criminal appeal and fresh criminal appeal on May 22.
On May 29, the vacation division bench of Justices A.K. Rath and Debabrata Das and single benches of Justice Debabrata Das and Justice Satrughana Pujahari will hear the cases.
On June 4, the cases will be heard by the vacation division bench of Justices Kumari Sanju Panda and Pramath Patnaik and single benches of Justice S.K. Sahu and Justice Pramath Patnaik.
Besides, the vacation division bench of Justices Kumari Sanju Panda and Pramath Patnaik and the single benches of Justice Pramath Mishra and Justice AK Mishra will hear cases on June 11, the notification added.
