Four Injured Due To Bombing In Nayagarh Village

Nayagarh: Four people were injured, one of them seriously, after bombs
were hurled at Sundhijhola village in Nayagarh district late on
Monday.

Nilakantha Mahakud, who suffered serious injuries in the bomb blast,
was admitted to SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack. Other
victims identified as Kanha Mahakud, Kulamani Mahakud and Sukaria
Bahuka were undergoing treatment at a local hospital.

The condition of Nilakantha was stated to be critical as he sustained
grievous injuries on his leg.

Though the exact reason behind the incident was yet to be known, local
people suspect that the incident took place following a group clash
over smuggling of sand in the area.
