Four More Test Corona Positive In Angul, Tally Goes Up To 64

Angul: Four more persons tested positive for coronavirus in Angul, taking the total number of cases to 64 in the district.

According to the Information and Public Relations department, all the four persons belong to Chhendipada block of the district. They were under home quarantine after returning from outside Odisha.

Of them, a 42-year-old woman had come from Bihar and a nine-year-old child from West Bengal. Similarly, a 29-year-old boy had returned from New Delhi and a 25-year-old boy from Chhattisgarh.

After their swab test confirmed corona positive, one of them was admitted in Talcher COVID Hospital and three others were sent to isolation ward of an industrial  house in Chhendipada.

District Collector Manoj Kumar Mohanty said 48 persons from Angul have recovered from COVID-19 so far.
