Bhubaneswar: Four railway stations in Odisha, under the jurisdiction of East Coast Railway (ECoR), have bagged ISO 14001:2015 certification for passenger amenities and allied services like setting up clean and hygienic environment management system for passengers on the station premises.
The four railway stations under Sambalpur Division that were issued the certficate on June 10 are Sambalpur, Kesinga, Balangir and Titlagarh. With this, 14 stations under the ECoR have bagged the ISO certificates.
ISO (International Organization for Standardization) is an independent, non-governmental, international organization that develops standards to ensure quality, safety and efficiency of products, services and systems.
