Rourkela: The Bondamunda police on Wednesday arrested four Railway Protection Force (RPF) personnel for allegedly thrashing a railway official.
According to reports, Assistant Railway Manager (ARM) Praveen Meena of Bondamunda railway station on the outskirts of Rourkela had gone to the railway club to bring his mobile power bank on May 27 when he had an altercation with four RPF officials, who later thrashed him.
Following the incident, Meena lodged a complaint at the Bondamunda police station.
Acting on the complaint, police arrested four RPF personnel.
