Four Workers Injured As LPG Cylinder Explodes In Marriage Hall Of Odisha’s Balangir

Balangir: At least four workers were injured as an LPG cylinder exploded during cooking for a marriage reception in Odisha’s Balangir on Thuraday.

According to sources, the incident took place at Mangalam Marriage Palace, a wedding venue, in Titlagarh town of the district.

Even as the marriage process was yet to start, the cooks and their helpers were busy preparing food for the guests in the kitchen area of the facility. One of the LPG cylinders being used for cooking suddenly exploded.

On the impact of the explosion, four workers present there sustained serious injuries. They were rushed to the sub-divisional hospital in the town. As the condition of one of the injured workers detariorated, he was shifted to a private hospital outside the state.

Following the incident, the local police went to the spot and started investigation.
