Angul: Tension prevailed at National Aluminum Company (Nalco) Ltd in Angul after four workers sustained critical burn injuries after a fire broke out in the Smelter Casthouse-B unit of the plant on Tuesday.
The injured were immediately rescued and rushed to Nalco hospital. The health condition of the victims is stated to be critical.
Meanwhile, fire tenders have been pressed into the service to douse the flames.
