Free Bus Service For Passengers Of Partially Cancelled Trains On Puri Route

Bhubaneswar: The East Coast Railway (ECoR) has decided to provide free bus transportation service between Bhubaneswar-Puri and Khurda Road for passengers of partially cancelled trains due to safety-related modernization work being carried out at Puri station.

It was announced that the following trains would be affected from September 14 to 24:

1. Train No. 12277 Howrah-Puri Shatabdi Express leaving Howrah from 14.09.2018 to 24.09.2018 will run upto Bhubaneswar except on 15.09.2018 and 22.09.2018. Similarly Train no. 12278 Puri-Howrah Shatabdi Express will originate from Bhubaneswar instead of Puri from 16.09.2018 to 25.09.2018 except 15.09.2018 and 22.09.2018.

2. Train No. 12821 Howrah-Puri Expres leaving from Howrah will run upto Bhubaneswar and in return direction train no. 12822 Puri – Howrah express will originate from Bhubaneswar instead of Puri. The service of this train between Bhubaneswar-Puri-Bhubaneswar will be cancelled from 13.09.2018 to 24.09.2018.

3. Train no. 18303 Sambalpur – Puri Intercity express leaving from Sambalpur will run upto Khurda Road and in return direction train no. 18304 Puri- Sambalpur intercity express will start from Khurda Road instead from Puri. The service of this train between Khurda Road-Puri-Khurda Road will be cancelled from 14.09.2018 to 24.09.2018.

4. Train no. 17480 Tirupati – Puri Express leaving Tirupati on 14.09.18, 15.09.18, 17.09.18, 18.09.18, 19,09.18, 21.09.18 & 22.09.18 (7 days) will run up to Khurda Road and in return direction train no. 17479 Puri- Tirupati express on 15.09.18, 16.09.18, 18.09.18, 19,09.18, 20.09.18, 22.09.18 & 23.09.18 (7 days) will start from Khurda Road instead from Puri. The service of this train between Khurda Road-Puri-Khurda Road will be cancelled from 14.09.2018 to 24.09.2018.

The free bus service will be available to passengers at Puri, Khurda Road and Bhubaneswar Railway Stations for the above trains in both directions.
