Hyderabad: There is more trouble for jailed ex-Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu.
The state’s Crime Investigation Department (CID) has registered another case against the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) chief, based on allegations of granting illegal p
ermissions to liquor companies, reported India Today.
Naidu has been named as accused No. 3 in this case, which also falls under Prevention of Corruption (PC) Act.
The CID filed a petition in Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) court, which granted permission for CID action.
Naidu, who was arrested on September 9 for alleged misappropriation of funds from Skill Development Corporation, is currently lodged in Rajamahendravaram central prison.
