Number Of Fresh COVID Cases Dips For 2nd Day In Odisha; TPR Remain Below 5%

Bhubaneswar: Odisha continued to register less than 1000 fresh COVID cases for the second day on Monday with 816 people testing positive for the virus in the last 24 hours against 872 the previous day.

According to the I&PR Department, 477 cases are from quarantine and 339 local contacts. Among them, 118 are in the age group of 0-18.

22. Nayagarh: 26
23. Nuapada: 1
24. Puri: 20
25. Rayagada: 6
26. Sambalpur: 57
27. Sonepur: 14
28. Sundargarh: 141

Besides, 46 are from the state pool.

With these cases being detected from 17,787 samples, the test positivity rate (TPR) stood at 4.58% against 4.49 % the previous day. Odisha now has 5911 active cases.
