Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD)’s regional centre here has forecast decreased rainfall over Odisha in the next two days, August 11-12, with the depression over the Bay of Bengal weakening into a well-marked low pressure.
However, there will be increased rainfall in the state from August 13 with the formation of a fresh low pressure over north Bay of Bengal.

Orange warning: Heavy to very heavy rainfall (7 to 20 cm) very likely to occur at isolated places over the districts of Sundargarh, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapada, Jagatsinghpur, Cuttack, Dhenkanal and Keonjhar.
Yellow warning: Heavy rainfall (7 to 11 cm) very likely to occur at isolated places over the districts of Bargarh, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Deogarh, Angul, Sonepur, Boudh, Nayagarh, Khurda and Puri.
Light to moderate rain/thundershower very likely to occur at most places over the districts of Odisha.
Aug 11 (8.30 am) to Aug 12 (8.30 am)
Yellow warning: Heavy rainfall (7 to 11 cm) very likely to occur at isolated places over the districts of Bargarh, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Deogarh, Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj and Balasore.
Light to moderate rain/thundershower very likely to occur at most places over the districts of north interior Odisha and at many places over the rest districts of the state.
Aug 12 (8.30 am) to Aug 13 (8.30 am)
Yellow warning: Heavy rainfall (7 to 11 cm) very likely to occur at isolated places over the districts of Jagatsinghpur, Cuttack, Khurda, Kendrapada and Puri.
Light to moderate rain/thundershower very likely to occur at most places over districts of coastal Odisha and at many places over the rest districts of the state.
Aug 13 (8.30 am) to Aug 14 (8.30 am)
Orange warning: Heavy to very heavy rainfall (7 to 20 cm) very likely to occur at isolated places over the districts of Ganjam, Puri, Khurda, Jagatsinghpur, Cuttack, Nayagarh, Kandhamal and Kalahandi.
Yellow warning: Heavy rainfall (7 to 11 cm) very likely to occur at isolated places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Kendrapada, Jajpur, Gajapati, Dhenkanal, Boudh, Angul, Rayagada, Malkangiri, Koraput, Nabarangpur, Sonepur, Sambalpur and Balangir.
Light to moderate rain/thundershower very likely to occur at most places over districts of Odisha.
Aug 14 (8.30 am) to Aug 15 (8.30 am)
Orange warning: Heavy to very heavy rainfall (7 to 20 cm) very likely to occur at isolated places over the districts of Bargarh, Sambalpur, Sonepur, Balangir, Boudh, Kandhamal, Kalahandi, Angul, Dhenkanal, Cuttack, Jajpur, Bhadrak, Kendrapada and Deogarh.
